<h3 data-section-id="3ti59l" data-start="484" data-end="527">The final three homes at Pendle Farm</h3>
Our remaining three homes form part of a row of five, created from the careful conversion of a single original farm building. The two end homes are already reserved, leaving a small, distinctive collection that feels closely connected to the development’s agricultural past.
With all 28 new homes now sold and the development largely complete, you can walk the streets, see the finished homes and experience how the place has come together. The barns themselves are now taking shape, with their scale, form and materials clearly visible as work progresses.
<h3 data-section-id="18t6iog" data-start="912" data-end="965">Rebuilt with care, guided by what came before</h3>
The original barn had reached the end of its life. What mattered was what it represented. Its scale, its presence, and its place within the village.
Now under construction, these homes are being carefully rebuilt to honour that history, using materials and proportions that reflect what stood here before, while creating something made for modern living.
To the street-facing elevation, original stone from the barn is being reused, allowing the building to sit naturally within the landscape. To the rear, the stone reflects the wider development, creating a quiet consistency across Pendle Farm as a whole. The result is a subtle transition. One side rooted in history, the other connected to the homes around it.

After months of thoughtful planning, design and styling, The Elliot has been carefully curated to reflect how we believe homes should feel: calm, welcoming, and designed for real life. This isn’t a show home created to chase short-lived interior trends, but one designed to show how timeless design can shape a home that feels comfortable for years to come.

For me, a show home is an opportunity to illustrate the thinking that sits behind our houses. Not just how they look, but the atmosphere we’re trying to create through proportion, materials and finish. It’s a chance to show the level of care that goes into every home we build.
For this project we once again partnered with Abbie Lockett of Breathe Home Interiors, who has worked with us on our show homes at The Willows in Silsden and <a href="https://www.verityandcohomes.com/find-your-home/pendle-farm-development/">Pendle Farm in Worsthorne</a>.
Personally, I’ve never been particularly drawn to trends. They can feel exciting in the moment, but they date quickly. Instead, I’ve always been more interested in interiors that feel timeless and dependable. Spaces that settle in quietly and continue to feel right for years to come.
I’m constantly inspired by designers who approach interiors in a similar way. Studios such as <a href="http://instagram.com/millieturnerdesigns">Millie Turner Designs</a>, <a href="http://instagram.com/houseninedesign">House Nine Design</a>, <a href="http://instagram.com/amberinteriors">Amber Interiors</a> and <a href="http://instagram.com/studiomcgee">Studio McGee,</a> all create spaces that feel timeless rather than trend-led. Their work tends to focus on natural materials, layered textures and interiors that feel lived in rather than overly styled. It’s an approach that resonates strongly with how I think about our homes.

Why We Don’t Follow Interior Design Trends

Our first three homeowners have got their keys, and for everyone involved in bringing this development to life, it’s a moment worth celebrating. There is something genuinely special about seeing the first completed homes no longer standing empty. Lights on. Driveways in use. A street scene beginning to form.
The landscaping has been laid, and it has instantly transformed the feel of the development. It brings the warmth of the stone elevations to life and softens the street scene, while the neutral window and door tones we selected sit beautifully against the black external lighting and detailing. Even on a grey Skipton morning, the homes feel grounded and confident. Built to belong.
The Oaks sits especially close to our hearts because Skipton is home. It’s where Sarah and I grew up, and where our family roots run deep. This year, Skipton was named the happiest place to live in Britain for the first time, topping Rightmove’s Happy at Home Index. For us, that makes building here feel even more meaningful. But wherever we build, our aim is always the same: to add something lasting to the places we work in, and to create homes that feel right for their setting.

Higher Apprentice of the Year Finalist

At Pendle Farm in Worsthorne, The Berkeley &#8211; Plot 7, has completed today. But behind the sale is a story that reminds us why we do what we do.
Our customer reserved their new home over the Christmas period, with a rental tenancy due to expire shortly after. Without a smooth and timely completion, they were facing the very real possibility of having nowhere to go.

The tree itself is from Balsam Hill. It’s an investment, but one that’s now in its fifth year and still looks as good as the day it came out of the box. Top tip: Caroline bought hers in the Christmas sale.

This way of decorating reflects a wider philosophy in how we design our homes. We believe the quality of a house should speak for itself. We don’t believe in overpowering schemes that distract from good architecture, natural materials, or thoughtful craftsmanship. Interiors should quietly enhance a space, allowing proportion, light, and detail to do the heavy lifting.

A natural stone collection of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom homes, nestled alongside the canal in Silsden, West Yorkshire, The Willows has now reached a significant milestone: the final home is complete, and all 49 properties are now occupied.
Set within a peaceful corner of Silsden and bordered by open farmland and the canal, The Willows was thoughtfully designed to balance countryside calm with modern, day-to-day convenience. With strong connections to key road networks nearby, the development offers a setting that feels removed, yet well connected &#8211; ideal for modern family life.
