Who they are
Yorkshire Rhodes is a family run business based in Otley, West Yorkshire.
They serve their local villages and towns, along with Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Skipton and the wider Yorkshire region. They also carry out moves further afield.
The business was originally formed as Apex Removals and Storage. It has since rebranded to Yorkshire Rhodes Removals and Storage, to better reflect who they are.
We recognise something of ourselves in that. Verity & Co Homes has been family-built since Brian Verity founded the company in 1986, and we changed our own name not long ago for much the same reason. A family name over the door sets a standard. It tends to show in the work.

Planning your move
A few things are worth doing early.
Book as soon as you have a date you are confident in. Removals teams fill up quickly, particularly towards the end of the week.
Ask for a survey, in person or by video, rather than a figure given over the phone. It is the difference between an estimate and a firm quote.
Tell them what matters. The piano, the clock that belonged to your grandmother, the boxes that need to go straight into the main bedroom. A team that knows can plan around it.
Label boxes by room rather than by contents. It is the room that tells the crew where to set them down.
Pack a box for your first night and keep it with you. Kettle, mugs, tea, phone chargers and bedding.
