Award-Winning Craftsmanship at Croft Mill, Foulridge
We’re proud to share that Croft Mill in Foulridge has been named Regional Winner in the Best Medium New Housing Development category at the 2025 LABC Building Excellence Awards.
The judges commended the exceptional standards achieved throughout the project – from thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship to seamless delivery on site.
Nestled in the picturesque village of Foulridge, near Colne, Croft Mill is a tranquil escape featuring just 17 homes, creating a close-knit and intimate community. Surrounded by beautiful natural stone architecture and softly illuminated by Victorian-style lantern streetlights, it perfectly blends rural charm with modern living. With convenient access to Colne and nearby towns, it offers homeowners the ideal balance of peaceful countryside and practical connection.
But for us, this award carries a deeper meaning.
Croft Mill was one of the final sites purchased by our founder and father, Brian Verity, before he passed away. Brian had a rare gift for recognising potential in forgotten places – and for imagining the communities they could one day become.
That vision shaped award-winning developments such as Kearns Village in Cowpe and Victoria Fold in Sabden. And it continues to guide us today, as we build on his legacy – creating homes that last and places that belong.
This recognition is a proud moment for our whole team and a heartfelt tribute to Brian’s enduring influence on everything we do.
