A little Christmas inspiration from home 🎄

Where tradition, texture and thoughtful design come together.
Over the past year, our Creative Director, Caroline, has been renovating her own home. With the help of an interior designer, she’s taken the time to really refine her style.
Today, we thought we’d share a small glimpse of her home at Christmas. For those of you who haven’t quite dressed your space yet, we hope it offers a little inspiration.
You’ll spot the handmade wooden trees on the windowsill, chosen for their simplicity and warmth. They’re made by a small maker on Etsy and feel like pieces you’ll bring out year after year. The snowman advent calendar is another favourite. A gentle nod to tradition, and one that’s very popular with her daughter!
When it comes to the tree, Caroline has kept things understated. Velvet burgundy bows, very much in style this Christmas, paired with small, considered decorations from Nkuku. Simple. Elegant. Nothing competing for attention. The Christmas stockings are also from Nkuku, chosen in a rich forest green velvet that adds depth without overpowering the space.
The tree itself is from Balsam Hill. It’s an investment, but one that’s now in its fifth year and still looks as good as the day it came out of the box. Top tip: Caroline bought hers in the Christmas sale.
This way of decorating reflects a wider philosophy in how we design our homes. We believe the quality of a house should speak for itself. We don’t believe in overpowering schemes that distract from good architecture, natural materials, or thoughtful craftsmanship. Interiors should quietly enhance a space, allowing proportion, light, and detail to do the heavy lifting.
You’ll see this same thinking carried through in our upcoming Show Home at The Oaks in Skipton (Early 2026). Calm, layered interiors designed to feel lived-in from day one. Homes that are confident without being showy, and timeless enough to grow with the people who live in them.
Spaces designed for real life. At Christmas, and every day.
Family built, with heart.
