That connection to the past is something she treasures. The building may have taken on a new purpose, but its character, craftsmanship and place within the community remain.

“It’s still got the old school feel. People stop me to tell me they went to school here years ago.”

A Home That’s Completely Her Own

Over the past four years, Pam has filled her cottage with the things she loves most. Colourful artwork, vintage furniture, flourishing houseplants and carefully chosen pieces sit naturally alongside the building’s historic features.

The individuality of St Stephen’s Place gave her the freedom to create something very different from the standard new-build home she had owned before. Each room feels personal, expressive and thoughtfully put together, with every corner reflecting her character.

It has become more than somewhere to display her artwork. The home itself now feels like part of the collection.

Four years after moving in, Pam remains delighted with the quality of her home. Any minor snags have been dealt with quickly, giving her confidence that the same care invested in the restoration continues long after completion.
