Breathing New Life into Old Buildings

Heritage, Recrafted

Homes with History, Crafted with Care

Across Yorkshire and Lancashire, we’ve spent decades breathing new life into buildings with history, barns, mills and churches that needed care and sensitivity. Every project is different, but our approach stays the same: honour the character that’s already there, and craft something beautiful, functional and lasting for the families who will live there next.

Shaping Interiors with Respect

Inside

Inside, our approach is about balance: honouring the building’s history while shaping spaces that work beautifully for modern life. Original features are celebrated where possible – exposed beams, deep stone walls, vaulted ceilings. We design rooms with light in mind, opening up spaces where it feels right and keeping the natural character where it matters most. Materials are chosen with care, and every decision, from stair placement to the layout of living spaces, is guided by thoughtful use and long-term livability. The result is a home that feels warm, grounded and quietly extraordinary.

Restoring Exteriors with Respect

Outside

From The Sycamores in Coniston Cold to Bolton Gardens in Silsden, from Ebor Mills in Haworth to the stonework at St Stephen’s in Skipton, these homes have challenged us, inspired us and shaped our understanding of what thoughtful restoration really means. Whether we’re preserving original beams, rebuilding stone by stone, or designing spaces that bring old and new together seamlessly, our focus is always on quality and respect for the past.
